Complete Your Professional Profile

Once you have registered and verified your email, your next task is to set up your tradesperson profile. This is what households see when they search for help, so it is worth doing well. The good news is that DomusVesta guides you through it section by section, and your work saves automatically as you go.

When you arrive at your onboarding dashboard, you will see it is headed Complete Your Profile, with a Profile Completion progress bar at the top. That bar fills as you finish each part, giving you a clear sense of how close you are to being ready for review.

There are three sections, and you can complete them in any order that suits you. Here is what each one involves.

Step by step

1. Fill in your Business Identity. This is the practical information about your business. You add your business name, and optionally your company registration and VAT numbers if you have them. You choose your Provider Type from Sole trader, Limited company, Partnership or Starting business, and you record your business size. You also add your contact details and your address or operating area so households nearby can find you. None of the optional fields are required, so do not worry if a company number does not apply to you.

2. Build your Trust & Professional Profile. This is the section households read most closely. Here you write your biography, add your services, and upload your documents. Your biography is your chance to introduce yourself in your own words, explain the work you do and the standards you hold. 3. Make your Community Commitment. This section is a short pledge that signals you are joining DomusVesta in the right spirit. It is quick to complete and reflects the standards that keep the platform trustworthy for households and providers alike.

4. Watch your work save as you go. You do not need to finish everything in one sitting. DomusVesta saves your changes automatically, and you will see All changes saved as confirmation. You can leave and come back as often as you like, and the Profile Completion bar will remember exactly where you are.

5. Add your services with clear pricing. Inside your Trust & Professional Profile, set out each service you offer along with how you price it. 6. Upload your documents. Also inside your Trust & Professional Profile, upload your supporting documents such as your insurance and any relevant certifications. 7. Submit your profile for review. When all three sections are complete and the Profile Completion bar is full, you submit your profile for review. It then shows as under review while our team checks it.

What to expect after you submit

After you submit, there is nothing more you need to do but wait a short while. Your profile is usually approved within 24 to 48 hours. Once it is approved, it goes live and households in your area can find you, view your services and pricing, and send you enquiries.

If anything needs attention, you will be told what to change, and you can update your details and submit again. Because your work is always saved, picking up where you left off is straightforward.

A few tips for a strong profile

A complete profile inspires more confidence than a sparse one. Take a little care over your biography, list every service you genuinely offer, and make sure your operating area is accurate so you appear in the right local searches. The more thorough you are, the easier it is for households to choose you with confidence.
