DomusVesta Launch Membership Terms and Conditions
£1.99/month for 6 months
1. Introduction
These Launch Membership Terms and Conditions govern participation in the DomusVesta provider launch programme. By activating a launch membership, you agree to be bound by these terms in addition to the DomusVesta Terms of Service and Community Standards.
2. Launch Membership Offer
DomusVesta offers a limited launch membership to eligible service providers at a fee of £1.99 per month.
This offer is designed to support early adoption, platform testing, and community development.
3. Eligibility Criteria
The launch membership offer is available exclusively to the first 1,000 providers who:
- Complete the full onboarding process
- Successfully pass DomusVesta's verification and approval process
- Activate their membership through the platform
Eligibility is determined solely by DomusVesta. DomusVesta reserves the right to accept or reject any application at its discretion.
4. Duration of Pilot Pricing
The £1.99 per month pilot pricing is valid for a period of up to 6 months from the date of membership activation.
After this period, standard membership pricing will apply.
5. Pricing Flexibility and Future Changes
DomusVesta reserves the unrestricted right to:
- Modify, increase, or withdraw the pilot pricing offer for new providers at any time
- Introduce new pricing tiers, subscription models, or features
- Adjust the structure of the membership offering as the platform evolves
Providers who have activated the launch membership will retain their £1.99 per month pricing for the duration of their initial 6-month period, unless otherwise stated under clause 6.
6. Exceptional Pricing Adjustments
DomusVesta reserves the right to amend pricing for existing pilot members in exceptional circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Platform sustainability requirements
- Regulatory or legal obligations
- Material changes to platform functionality or cost structure
Any such changes will be communicated with reasonable notice.
7. Billing and Payments
Membership fees are billed monthly in advance.
By activating membership, you authorise DomusVesta to charge the payment method provided.
Failure to process payment may result in suspension or restriction of access to platform features, including profile visibility and booking access.
8. Cancellation
Providers may cancel their membership at any time.
Cancellation will prevent future charges but does not entitle the provider to refunds for any period already billed.
Upon cancellation, the provider profile may be removed from search visibility and access to platform features may be limited.
9. Non-Transferability
The launch membership offer is non-transferable and applies only to the approved provider account.
It cannot be shared, reassigned, or applied to multiple accounts.
10. Platform Access and Features
Pilot members receive access to platform features including:
- Public provider profile
- Ability to receive and manage booking enquiries
- Messaging and communication tools
- Reputation tracking and trust badges
- Calendar and availability management
DomusVesta does not process payments between households and providers. All service payments are arranged directly between the provider and the household.
11. Provider Obligations
Providers must:
- Provide accurate and complete information during onboarding
- Maintain valid documentation where required
- Comply with DomusVesta Community Standards and Code of Conduct
- Honour the Community Pledge
- Handle bookings in line with platform expectations and community standards
Failure to comply may result in suspension, removal of badges, or account termination.
12. Trust, Reputation and Badge System
DomusVesta operates a system-driven trust and reputation framework.
Badges, scores, and rankings are determined automatically based on:
- Booking activity recorded on the platform
- Customer feedback and ratings
- Responsiveness and reliability
- Compliance with platform policies
Badges cannot be purchased, manually assigned, or influenced outside of platform activity.
13. Suspension and Termination
DomusVesta reserves the right to suspend or terminate provider access in cases including:
- Breach of terms or policies
- Fraudulent or misleading activity
- Repeated cancellations or poor service delivery
- Circumvention of platform processes in a way that undermines trust or community standards
No refunds will be issued in the event of termination due to breach.
14. Platform Evolution
DomusVesta is an evolving platform. During the pilot period:
- Features may change
- User experience may be updated
- Workflows may be improved or modified
These changes are part of ongoing product development and do not constitute a breach of agreement.
15. Limitation of Liability
DomusVesta provides a platform for connecting households and providers.
DomusVesta does not:
- Act as an employer, agent, or contractor
- Guarantee job volume, enquiries, or earnings
- Take responsibility for agreements or payments made between providers and households
Providers operate as independent professionals.
16. Amendments to Terms
DomusVesta reserves the right to update or amend these terms at any time.
Where material changes are made, providers will be notified.
Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
17. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
