What is DomusVesta?
DomusVesta is a trust-led platform connecting local households with trusted local professionals. We focus on real reviews, verified identities, and direct communication — not advertising auctions or lead-buying.
How much does it cost?
For households: DomusVesta is completely free to use. Browse, message, and book trusted local services at no cost.
For service providers: During our pilot launch, early onboarding access is available at free for the first 6 months, then £1.99 per month for the following 6 months. No commissions, ever — we are a subscription platform, not a commission marketplace.
Where is DomusVesta available?
We are launching first across Leicestershire and the wider Midlands — Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Staffordshire, and Lincolnshire. See our launch plans for full coverage detail.
How do you verify service providers?
Every professional joining DomusVesta is identity-checked and asked to provide proof of relevant insurance and qualifications before they can appear in search results. Reviews are only ever linked to real completed work — there are no anonymous or unverified reviews on the platform.
Do you take commission on jobs?
No. DomusVesta is a trust and matching platform — we do not handle payments, take commission, or insert ourselves between you and your provider. Whatever you agree directly is what gets paid directly.
How is DomusVesta different from other platforms?
Most platforms make money by selling visibility — the loudest, biggest spenders win. We rank purely on reviews, response, and quality of work. Independent professionals, returners to work, sole traders, and growing businesses compete on merit, not marketing budget.
Can I contact a professional directly before booking?
Yes — direct messaging is built into the platform. You can ask questions, share details, and agree the work before committing to a booking.
How do I sign up?
Households can create a free account from the Find Local Services page. Service professionals can apply via the Offer Local Services page.
What happens with my data?
