2. In the next field, Enter your location. This tells us where you are, so we can show providers who actually cover your area.

Within moments you will be taken to the services page, where the available providers are listed for you to explore.

Step-by-step: browsing popular categories

If you are not quite sure what to search for, browsing is a lovely way to discover what is available.

1. On the home page, look for the Popular Categories cards.
2. Select the card that best matches the kind of help you need.
3. From there, pick a subcategory to narrow things down to exactly the right type of provider.

This is a great approach when you know roughly what you want but are unsure of the exact term to use.

Understanding your search results

Once you have searched or browsed, the services page shows your results. At the top you will see a clear summary in the form [X] results for [service] in [location], so you always know what you are looking at and where.

Each provider appears on their own card, which gives you a helpful summary at a glance:

• The provider and their business.
• Their overall rating, so you can see how others have rated them.
• A price guide. This may appear in different forms depending on how the provider works, for example a range such as £50 - £150, an hourly rate such as £60/hr, or simply Quote if they prefer to price the job once they understand it.
• A button to view the provider's full profile, where you can learn much more.
